About Marlow Cricket Club
Cricket at Marlow Cricket Club has an esteemed history with roots back to the early 1900s.
The first major game recorded at the ground was the 1906 minor counties game between Buckinghamshire and Dorset.
Some amazing cricket has taken place here including the Minor Counties famous 1 wicket victory over a strong Pakistan touring side. The Pakistan side included greats like Waqar Younis, Mustaq Ahmed and Inzamam-ul-Haq.
In 1993 we hosted the Ireland V Netherlands women’s world cup game. Ireland Women winning by 2 wickets with 21 balls of the game remaining.
Marlow Cricket Club has been represented over the years by many many cricketers. We are proud that as a club we can cater for cricket of all standards. Going into summer 2021 we expect to see 5 former professional cricketers taking to the field, almost 100 club cricketers and well over 100 juniors start their cricketing journey.
